Introduction lecture by Dr. Beth Harris and Dr. Steven Zucker on the Ghent Altarpiece, a very large and highly complex fifteenth-century altarpiece (completed in 1432) in Saint Bavo Cathedra, Ghent, Belgium. The alterpiece is attributed to the brothers Hubert (c. 1385-90-1426) and Jan van Eyck (before c. 1390-1441).
